Inquire at the library's Circulation Desk for further details concerning how to apply for an alumni or guest account. All such accounts will need to be approved by a library administrator.
Students from MOBIUS libraries should consult their own library’s website or staff for details concerning their borrowing privileges with MOBIUS libraries.

*After the initial 2 weeks that a book is checked out, it will be subject to recall if requested by another student.
Any book that has been checked out may be recalled after two weeks of the initial loan period has passed if requested by an EU/AGTS student or faculty member. In addition, books can be recalled from any library patron at any point in their loan period if an EU/AGTS professor has requested that they be placed on Course Reserve. Patrons must return recalled books to the library within 48 hours of notification or the book will be considered overdue and the patron will be subject to the EU fine policies.
For overdue circulating materials, fines will be levied beginning with the first business day following the due date of the materials. Fines are not charged for days when the library is closed.
If alumni or guests have any overdue books or have accumulated fines equaling or exceeding $5, their library accounts will be blocked in the circulation system. Once a library account is blocked, the account holder cannot check out any books from the EU library until the matter is resolved.
Fine Schedule |
|
Regular circulating materials |
$.25 per day |
Library patrons should report lost items immediately. Fines will not be charged beyond the date when the item was reported lost. Regular circulating books not returned will be declared lost 28 days after the due date.
When a book checked out to an alumni or guest has been declared lost, an invoice with the replacement value of the item, the fines that have accrued, and a $10 processing fee, will be sent to the patron or to the institution with which this patron is associated. The patron’s library account will be blocked until the matter is resolved.
